A bump in the number of contracts in the King County market over the last 30 days resulted in the highest amount since August. 3,987 homes went under contract to go along with 2,722 completed sales, which also extends an eight-week upward sales trend. In comparison, Pierce County had 1,931 contracts executed in the same time frame, the most of all nearby counties. Prices are rising in King County, and the median sales price this period increased from $470,000 to $475,000. In spite of the decrease in sales, a low one month of inventory signals that King County is a definite seller's market.
